Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Exposure to these chemicals may take place when products are acquired or used. Exposure may also occur in homes, workplaces, or other environments in California. By requiring that this information be provided, Proposition 65 enables Californians to make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals. Proposition 65 also prohibits California businesses from knowingly discharging significant amounts of listed chemicals into sources of drinking water. Proposition 65 requires California to publish a list of chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. This list was first published in 1987, and must be updated at least once a year. It now includes over 900 chemicals. Proposition 65 became law in November 1986, when California voters approved it by a 63-37 percent margin. The official name of Proposition 65 is the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986.
We all love working on our golf carts. There is something therapeutic about fixing something yourself without having to rely on someone else. Brakes can seem like a daunting task, but with the correct parts and a little research, you can change this aftermarket Brake Drum Assembly with ease. Time for a vocabulary lesson. Who has heard of the phrase "manufactured obsolescence"? We would imagine many of you, especially if you are looking at replacing brake drums on your EZGO, Harley Davidson, or Columbia. For those who are unaware, the term refers to a part designed to fail to protect other items. Brake Drums are supposed to wear out to ensure the life of the axle and others. This 24-spline brake drum assembly will slide right on the axle with ease. You can use your original lug-nuts, no need to waste money on new ones. Well, unless, of course, you have an affinity for chrome as we do! Make sure you buy two; the last thing you want is worn brakes on one side of the cart and new ones on the other. Well, if you do replace only one side, maybe you can time your braking just right and use it as a turn assist going around corners. Just kidding, get two.
